Government of Karnataka Initiatives
The state of Karnataka is rapidly building an ecosystem to foster entrepreneurship and innovation at the district level.
Incubation Centres in Engineering CollegesIn its recent budget, the Government of Karnataka announced the launch of incubation centres in the ICT sector. These centres, set up in partnership with leading engineering colleges at district headquarters, are designed to foster entrepreneurship with a strong focus on student innovators.
KIG 2020 Report The Karnataka Information Communication Technology Group (KIG) 2020 Report highlights entrepreneurship development and mentoring as one of the 10 core initiatives to drive new opportunities and job creation across the state.
